The  Falconry Experience

On arrival at the barn the falconer will greet you and will then give you a guided tour of the centre and an introduction to the birds we keep. He will also run through some basic bird handling and safety issues for the day.
It will then be off onto the estate to witness the hawks at their most spectacular! The emphasis will be on interaction between you and the hawks, in depth information on falconry techniques and bird handling, as well as raptor biology, physiology and psychology, hunting strategies of wild raptors and captive breeding. The hunting trip will be spent in pursuit of pheasant with our hawks.

All our standard bedrooms have recently been refurbished and many enjoy views over the Coniston Hall Lake and all benefit from delightful countryside views.  All rooms are en-suite and have remote controlled satellite television, direct dial telephone, free broadband internet access, hairdryer, trouser press and a hospitality tray.

All luxury bedrooms have either a balcony or patio from which to enjoy the stunning views over the Coniston Hall Lake and across the Yorkshire Dales.
Our luxury bedrooms are spacious and feature air-conditioning, LCD TVs and a separate seating area. The luxury bathrooms are also wonderfully spacious and have separate baths and showers.
