Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Charity AuctionGame & Wildlife Conservation Trust Charity Auction in Edinburgh 13th May 2010 Jesus Alberto and I were invited to attend this very enjoyable evening by my old friend Robert Rattray. As it was a black tie dinner I was slightly nervous as Jesus Alberto told me he had got his ‘smoking’ – which I assumed was a smoking jacket. However, I needn’t have worried as his black tie was perfect!
A donation of 2 guns on one day’s Spanish partridge shooting at la Cuesta was given and this lot raised £8,000.00 at auction through the generosity of a very Scottish team who will be shooting with us in October 2010. The auction raised a staggering £150,474.00 for the GWCT which will help fund the various research projects which the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust is involved with at the moment.
