"We had a most enjoyable day at Botton Head and would recommend it to anyone who is fit enough to meet the demands of the ground.  I am reluctant to write this testimonial since I should prefer to keep the secret to myself!  Very clear directions were given so we had no trouble finding the RV point.  From the moment of our arrival we were treated as friends and enjoyed excellent hospitality in the form of welcome refreshments and assistance to find our pegs.  The partridges that were driven over the valleys where the guns were placed provided some of the most challenging shooting I have ever experienced.  The beaters were obviously a very well disciplined team and there were some first class dogs and handlers in attendance too.  Congratulations to both the organiser and to the keeper.  The day ended with a refreshing cup of tea.  This is a young man's (or woman's) shoot; the presence of children added to the family atmosphere"...
